Innovative “Behind The Mask” Video Project Seeks Creative Input From Across The World To Shape Unique Artistic Vision In the spirit of Michael Jackson’s pioneering videos that pushed the creative boundaries in capturing the look, feel and emotions of music, the Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music will provide everyone who likes music an opportunity to help create online a unique groundbreaking music video for the single “Behind the Mask”. Using the web in a truly innovative way, people from around the world on March 7 will come together to create an imaginative piece of Michael Jackson history in The Behind the Mask Project.

Led by the creative team at Radical Media and director Dennis Liu, participants will visit the website http://behindthemask.michaeljackson.com which will be loaded with simple tools that define the different roles one can play in this landmark project. First, users select a move, a lyric, or a crowd reaction; performers can even demonstrate their own moonwalk, the anti-gravity lean or the toe stand. Then, using the site’s split-screen template, contributors can shoot their move right on the website with their web cam (or their video camera) and upload their clip at the precise time it occurs in the video.

After the worldwide community has come together and done their part, the director will select the top clips and weave them into this historical work of Michael Jackson video art. The final results of The Behind the Mask Project will be unveiled during the first week in April.

“Behind the Mask” is a critic and fan favorite from MICHAEL – the unique collection of songs featuring Michael’s performances completed posthumously and released in December by the Michael Jackson Estate and Sony Music. Dear people,
I would like to ask you a question – the question WHY. Why is there so much poverty in the world? Why so many wars? Why so much torture and agony? And why must children die and innocent suffer? I don’t understand it. Do you understand it?
I want to help. I want to make people happy, and may it be just for a moment. That is what gives my life a sense. Don’t you understand me? What did I do that you judge me? Are you really envious of me? You don’t have to. I wouldn’t wish you to be me…
Maybe you just want me to confess my ‘guilt’.

Yes, it is true, I do love children! But not the way you want it to be. I love them from the bottom of my heart. Because children don’t make wars. Children have never hurt me. It makes me happy to look in their shining eyes. Is it a crime wanting to be happy and want to make others happy? Many of them who visit me are going to die soon, of cancer or other terrible diseases. I won’t let you forbid me through your arrogance to give them just one happy day!

Yes, it is true that I had plastic surgeries! Do you know what it feels like?! How often did I have to wake up in pain! How often I didn’t know what would expect me when I look into the mirror! How often did I cry when I did it! Don’t you see that I’m punishing myself for that I cannot cope with my face – and with myself! Why do you also punish me for it?

Yes, it is true, once I was black! You get darker in the sun and get admired for that. But I am sick and you hit me for it. The sun you love so much can kill me. In former times I loved to be outside in the light, too, now I can nearly only go out at night. And you make your fun out of it. If I hadn’t become the Michael Jackson you know today, then I would also be like that: I would be a white black with curls and a thick niggernose for which everybody would tease me. Well, now you tease me because of my little nose. Maybe I would already be dead because I couldn’t protect myself so good as I can today. Would you prefer it when I was dead? Or when I had never existed? But then you wouldn’t have my music! Would you like to do without ‘Billie Jean’?! My music you love though, don’t you? Just not me. But I create the music to make you happy.

You torture me with your disgraceful words. Words can sometimes hurt so much more than punchs. Often I sit in an edge and cry. I ask God for what I have to suffer, what a reason I’ve given you. Cause I never did harm to anyone. I am afraid of you ’cause you’ve hurt me so badly. And I don’t even defend myself. I simply hide behind my masks. Oh, how I hate these masks! Under them I can hardly breathe. But I have no choice, it’s the only way to protect myself. But you don’t like it when I protect myself. You’d prefer to kick a defenceless man in his face. but this favour I won’t do you. I don’t need to be ashamed for anything I’ve done. And as I can see at you, dear Unknown there are people who understand my message.

My friends and me, we don’t go into the war with tanks. We come with sunflowers to all of you even though you laugh at us and snap our flowers off. Maybe you will understand not before not only the flowers but the whole sun goes out. With my music, with what I do I would like to bring a light into the world. But is it necessary that I kill myself until someone believes me? And until someone believes me that I just want to do good things and that I suffer from your hate? But then you would be outraged: “And the children?!” Particularly you would say that, you who would love the most to take my children away from me. You say they aren’t my children. You say I couldn’t educate them. How do you want to know this?! And is it important then what blood is flowing through their veins when I would die for them? Your jealousy and your hate make you blind for what love means.

You don’t know me, nevertheless you have already judged me! You, those reporters who hammer me at the cross in the morning, you listen to my music in the evening! That is not fair! You are not interested in what you write if it just attracts readers and causes headlines. But my name is enough to attract the people. Why is it always necessary to denounce me? Why don’t you write something positive, there you wouldn’t have to search so long! Why do I have to be ‘Wacko Jacko’? Can’t you see that the only one I’m hurting is myself?! You hunt me like I was a piece of cattle. Isn’t there anybody who sees that I’m also a human being?! Where do you have your heart? Where do you have your mercy? Where do you have your love?

If just one out of ten people who get this letter tries to understand me, already then my life is it worth being lived.

First, it’s necessary to define a new term.  Medialoid (mainstream media infected by tabloid journalism) publishes content that is more suitable for tabloid publications.

Part 1 — Professionalization of Journalism. Many occupations require licensing; for example, doctors, lawyers, architects, and accountants must be licensed in all 50 states. To qualify, one must graduate from an accredited university and pass a rigorous board examination. A license doesn’t guarantee a doctor, lawyer, architect, or accountant will be competent. However, licensing prevents a plumber from operating on a person, a homemaker from arguing in court, a dog groomer from designing a building, or a student from maintaining the books of a corporation.

Is it no less important that those entrusted with reporting world events be licensed? Reporters should not be allowed to call themselves journalists unless they graduate from an accredited university with a degree in journalism (including at least one course in journalism ethics and one course in communications and media law) and pass a rigorous board examination.

Media play a huge role in our lives. Television, radio, the Internet, movies, books, and newspapers inform and influence our ideas, opinions, values, and beliefs. They shape our understanding of the world and give us the information we need to hold our leaders accountable. They help us separate fact from opinion.

If formal journalism training and licensing had been required of Diane Dimond and Nancy Grace, neither would have been hired by any news organization. If either had been hired without credentials, the news company that hired them may have been fined for hiring unlicensed persons. Clearly, if Dimond and Grace had not been perceived as journalists, their works of fiction may not have confused the public.

The Society of Professional Journalists believes that public enlightenment is the forerunner of justice and the foundation of democracy. The duty of a journalist is to further those ends by seeking truth and providing a fair and balanced account of events and issues. Conscientious journalists strive to serve the public with thoroughness and honesty. Professional integrity is the cornerstone of a journalist’s credibility. A journalist shall lose his or her license for failing to adhere to principles of journalistic ethics and integrity.

Code of Ethics for Journalists

Part 2 — Defaming the dead shall be prohibited. A deceased person’s heirs can sue for libel and slander as aggressively as the person who was defamed when he or she was alive.

Part 3 — News agencies, journalists, and all media shall use public disclaimers to alert and educate readers and viewers regarding content. For example, the Food and Drug Administration protects against harmful claims that are misleading to the public. The following disclaimer must be included on products that purport to be effective but do not have FDA approval:

It’s the answer to the question you were kinda curious about, then forgot about, but now you’re like “Holy cow, I really want to know — how did Michael Jackson‘s body seemingly disappear after his memorial, only to reappear at the cemetery?”

On July 7, 2009 the Staples Center memorial was held in front of thousands of people in downtown L.A. —  Jackson’s body was ensconced in a $25,000 red casket.

After the memorial, although hundreds of cameras and thousands of eyes were trained on the exits, no one saw any evidence that the casket left the building.  It fueled a grassy knoll-type theory that Jackson’s body wasn’t really inside the casket and maybe he was still alive.

Finally, our spies have come clean. Jackson’s body did indeed arrive in a hearse, but it left in a SWAT van.  The van was driven to a secret location, where it rendezvoused with a Forest Lawn van — which then transported the body to the cemetery without being noticed.

RE:   A Plea To Have John Branca Investigated For Possible Conspiracy Corruption In The Michael Jackson Case

We, the undersigned, call on The State Bar of California to investigate John G. Branca of Ziffren Brittenham LLP, 1801 Century Park West, Los Angeles, CA 90067, for the possibility of conspiracy corruption in the Michael Jackson case.

After research on our part, we have reason to believe that Mr. Jackson’s will was signed with a signature stamp of  Mr. Jackson and that he had never rehired Mr. Branca to become executor of his estate.   It is to our understanding that there is no proof that the will is authentic, as it is proven that Mr. Jackson was in New York on the day the will was signed in California.   Also, when Mr. Jackson terminated Mr. Branca years ago Mr. Branca was ordered to return the originals of all documents, yet he conveniently produced this will after Michael’s death.   Mr. Branca claims that Michael hired him just days before his death.

However, this type of action would be inconsistent with what Mr. Jackson had decided years ago which raises our suspicion.

On February 3, 2003 Michael Jackson instructed Mr. Branca to turn over to his new attorneys all records, files and papers dealing with Mr. Jackson’s personal and Business life.  While Mr. Branca turned over his other files, it is to our understanding that Mr. Branca did not produce the original purported July 7, 2002 Will until July 1, 2009.

In violation of his fiduciary duties, Mr. Branca concealed the purported Will and Mr. Branca has said he was not terminated; he resigned in 2006 because he felt Mr. Jackson was being influenced by people who did not have his best interests at heart.  Regardless if Mr. Branca said that he resigned this is not an indication that he complied with Mr. Jackson’s termination letter in 2003.   Mr. Branca’s concealment of the purported Will and failure to produce Mr. Jackson’s Will regardless of Michael Jackson’s instruction for Mr. Branca to deliver all documents of his to Mr. LeGrand is what raises our suspicion.   Why would Mr. Branca conceal the purported Will if he was no longer Mr. Jackson’s attorney?

It wasn’t until July 1, 2009, that Mr. Branca produced the previously concealed Will which he had intentionally concealed for six (6) years.

We believe that to allow John Branca to continue to hold the position as an executor of Michael Jackson’s estate is an unethical violation.   Therefore, we are asking that you cease Mr. Branca from his position in Mr. Jackson’s estate and perform a thorough investigation on him.

In 2003, Michael Jackson launched an investigation into Mr. Branca’s suspected embezzlement activities regarding Michael Jackson’s money.   It was reported that there was a relationship between Sony Executive Tommy Mottola and John Branca whereby Mr. Branca and Mr. Mottola were involved in an offshore account in the Caribbean and Sony was transferring money into that account which implied that it was to benefit Mr. Branca.

INTERFOR REPORT: The Interfor Report caused Michael Jackson great anger and Michael Jackson demanded Mr. Branca to never have anything to do with him, his business, his family, or his personal life again.   Michael Jackson Terminated Mr. Branca because of what he learned.   Why would Mr. Jackson rehire this attorney to become an executor of his estate?

Mr. Branca claims that Mr. Jackson rehired him just 8 days before Mr. Jackson was murdered.   As the truth unfolds, it is obvious why Mr. Jackson feared for his life!

Additionally, Mr. Branca has just recently made a $200 million guaranteed contract with Sony Music Entertainment for 10 projects over seven years.

We, the undersigned, are appalled because as Michael Jackson’s fans, we know that Mr. Jackson wanted nothing to do with Sony once he was no longer obligated to do so because of the conspiracy that Michael believed that Sony had participated in in the past to ruin Mr. Jackson’s record sales.
